Happy New Year to all! I hope this year brings in loads of happiness, success,wisdom and good health! Romance not too far behind ! Let's start looking at people unbiased ! I chanced upon this article where the editor mentioned that a number of South Indians didn't really get the gist of Mr Modi's speech! The underlying fact being it was in shudddddh Hindi! I thought the addressal was crisp and clear and being a southie myself I understood each and every word that was uttered ! Why are southies considered not so high in the Hindi language scale. When South Indian languages are the closest to Sanskrit, making it easier for them to understand. Why not embrace this language which also happens to be our National language ! Why do we shy off when we are asked to speak in Hindi. Maybe we need to understand that speaking in Hindi doesn't make us sound " vernacular" or behenji. India being a diverse country with number of languages spoken we must be proud of each and every one of them. There is beauty in each. After all it is rightly said "A different language is a different vision to life".
